The recently announced Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 has a 10.1 inch touch screen, rear camera with 8MP and a 2 MP front facing camera. It is using Android 3.0 which is the same OS that the Xoom is planning on using. I feel that this tablet is going to be successful, especially after the very successful Galaxy Tab. According to Engadget.com, this particular tablet has the potential to give the Ipad 2 a run for its money.
If you are the type of person who is looking for a more portable tablet, a new 7 inch tablet called the Flyer was released from HTC. What is unique about this tablet is that it is going back to the days of Pocket Pc's. It has a stylus that can be used to make taking notes easier and to help edit/annotate books and pictures. Although this may seem like HTC is taking a step backwards, Engadget.com claims that we should expect to see more tablets similar to this one in the upcoming months. More info will be posted when I find out about it.
